Vendor Information
Mission Statement: The organization of the Farmers' Market is to give small
growers a retail outlet for their products including but not limited to: fruits,
vegetable, plants, herbs, specialty food products, quality arts and crafts
and vintage or hand-made outdoor furniture.

*Management reserves the right to amend type of items permitted at any time.
General Information
All applicants must submit an application, along with applicable
certificates on or prior to the day they first expect to begin selling at
the Market.

Membership is required for selling at the Market.
There are two types of membership:
Vested Member: Membership is $60 for the 2016 selling season-
Saturday and Wednesday.
Vested member space is located in a reserved area.
Limited Member: Fees are paid only when you sell. Monies are
collected before you set up. $10 for two day (Saturday and the
following Wednesday) or $8 per day (Saturday or Wednesday only).
Spaces available on a first come-first serve basis.

We are a PICK TENNESSEE Market- only locally grown or produced
items are permitted. Members must grow/produce the food
products sold. Exhibitors of art, crafts, photography, etc. must
produce items being sold. Misrepresentation of products sold will
result in forfeiture of fees paid and expulsion from the Market.

Only top quality produce and products will be permitted to be sold at
the Market.

The State of TN requires a certificate for any type of processed food
products such as: breads, cakes, jams, jellies, etc. Requirements
(regarding a commercial kitchens) were changed in 2013 . If you are
interesed in learning more about obtaining a certificate to offer
baked/processed items at the Market, contact the TN Dept. of
Agriculture by visiting their website www.tn.gov/agriculture/

The State of TN also dropped the certification for selling fresh eggs. No
permit is required.

Products that may be sold and do not requirement certification
include:
Vegetables, grown from seeds, sets or seedlings
Fruits, nuts, berries
Bulbs propagated by the seller
Honey produced from the sellers bees. All honey must be labeled.
Labels must include beekeepers name and address.
Cut or dried flowers grown by the seller
Firewood cut by the seller

Products that may be sold but require certification include:
Potted plants (herbs, flowers, shrubs or trees) and meat products.

Live animals of any kind are prohibited. Pets are not permitted in
booths and smoking is also prohitited.
