This year we will have a theme for those participating in the Christmas Parade. Our theme this year will
be "Sparkle and Spirit".

The parade line up will start at 5:30 pm and will begin promptly at 7 pm from Georgia street
headed west towards downtown. Line up will take place on the four-lane from Georgia St. back to
Emory St.


  • Floats should be signed up prior to the parade
  • The application deadline is November 29th
  • All vehicles should be decorated to ride through the parade
  • Arrive ON TIME for line up at 5:30 pm at the four-lane between the Dollar General store and the Sonic Drive-In
  • Floats will be judged at the beginning of the parade
  • Floats clearly representing their chosen theme will be a factor in judging
  • No horses without clean up behind them -NO EXCEPTIONS
  • Participants are discouraged from throwing candy or other items to the crowd from floats or other moving vehicles
  • It is recommended that each group have walkers next to their float or vehicle to hand out items to the crowd.
  • No one dressed as Santa Claus, The Real Santa will be at the end of the parade on a fire truck
  • List number of vehicles per entry, no more than TWO will be allowed
  • No Burnouts
  • No standalone four-wheelers (can only be used to pull floats)
  • Vehicles must keep up with the flow of the parade NO stopping vehicles
  • Drivers and passengers must remain in the vehicle throughout the entire parade
  • If walking, participants must keep up with the parade
  • Place identifying signs on both sides of float (if there is only one)
  • You will be directed where to go at the end of the parade
  • Prizes will awarded at Riverfront Park in The Gazebo
